La crepe
Today I’m going to introduce you to a crêpe recipe, and you’re probably thinking, “What is he talking about? I already know how to make crêpes.” And I would answer that these are the best crêpes in the world in terms of simplicity and flavor. After that, if you wish, you’re free to add your own personal ingredients (spread, fromage blanc, jam, honey, etc.).
Ingredients (Ingrédients)
50 g butter (beurre)
250 g flour (farine)
1 tbsp sugar (sucre en poudre)
1 pinch of salt (sel)
3 eggs (œufs)
500 ml milk (lait)
Oil for cooking (huile pour la cuisson)
Preparation (Préparation)
Melt the butter and set it aside.
In a large bowl, add the flour, sugar, salt, and eggs.
Gradually pour in the milk while gently whisking to avoid lumps.
Add the melted butter and mix until smooth.
Let the batter rest for 1 hour at room temperature.
Heat a pan with a little oil. Pour in one ladle of batter, cook until golden, then flip the crêpe.
Cook for a few more seconds and repeat until all the batter is used.
